Arrivé là par hasard mais très content de s’y être arrêté. Le personnel est très serviable et on y mange très bien.

RESTAURANT Locanda Conte Ghiotto ADDRESS Via Cascina del sole, Via Cavour, 2, 20026 Novate Milanese (MI) REVIEW DATE: 09/22/2024 TIME: 12.30 TURNOVER: 80.00% EXPECTATIONS Highly recommended by family for the value for money, expectations were very high for an inn. LOCATION Clean and tidy location. The use of wood for tables, chairs and furniture is very beautiful, reminiscent of the typical family-run inn. MENU The menu offers a great choice of both meat and fish and a large variety of pizzas. The only negative note of the proposal remains the desserts which, although presenting a vast selection, are not produced in house. BRINGS PRAWN COCKTAIL Generous portion and excellent quality of prawns. Dish proposed with a base of fine, slightly bitter salad, which contrasts the sweetness of the cocktail sauce. A great start. TAGLIATELLE SCALLOPS, PRAWNS AND COURGETTES Good overall, although slightly unbalanced by the large quantity of courgettes and cherry tomatoes that overwhelm the few scallops and prawns. With homemade pasta it would reach a higher level. Generous portion. CHEESECAKE A dessert that absolutely does no justice to the restaurant, the menu, the service and the dishes themselves. Terrible frozen single portion of industrial production. Absolutely rejected. SERVICE Precise and well-groomed service. A few extra precautions such as changing the cutlery at the right time and the presentation of the wine, even the house one, would make it almost perfect. I COUNT The bill is proportionate to the quality offered by the venue. FINAL JUDGMENT Good inn overall which with a few changes and precautions would certainly become a point of reference for the area among the best in the category. Very good for proposal, service and account. I am disappointed by the desserts, which leave a bad taste in my mouth for what could have been an almost perfect experience. This is also to let our staff rest and for this reason, as well as for customer requests, we have added classic desserts that we find in many restaurants But I must say that at least two 90% production desserts are always available. Maybe next time you can taste it. The cheesecake is true, it is a classic single-portion dessert but from the famous chef Salderiso chain.
