Ehemalige SS-Kaserne est une super attraction pour les touristes qui viennent manger dans ce restaurant après une longue marche. La cuisine chinoise créée par un chef talentueux est magnifique ici. Goûtez un sushi savoureux.

The price is reasonable even though there is no freshly prepared food. But there are many drinks to choose from. Including coffee. Food will be addicted to saltiness. It's probably because it's frozen food. There are many types of rice balls. Very full for lunch Food is available to order. The food was absolutely delicious and the price for all you can eat was absolutely fair (32€ drinks including “as of 2024”) filled us up :) from sushi to freshly fried to fries, everything is there; also 2 chocolate fountains Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Damn it, it's a buffet and you shouldn't expect anything else unless you want to eat there à la carte. But let's start the whole thing from the beginning. The parking situation is not really relaxed. There are plenty of parking spaces, but unfortunately most of them are reserved by the other companies based there. In case of doubt, parking in these same spaces could subsequently make the price of the meal significantly more expensive. The restaurant cannot be described as being in an idyllic location. It does have a small, beautiful beer garden on the edge of a parking lot in the middle of a residential area, which gives the whole thing a little green dot. All in all, it's more of a dreary gray within the gray. Inside it is open, bright and clean (at least on this day) and the space is entirely designed for the buffet, which is also reflected in the background noise. It's just a bit louder at peak times. As soon as we entered, the staff was friendly and attentive and maintained this behavior until the end. The buffet itself wasn't the biggest or longest, but it was anything but small either. Of course, the obligatory rice pot should not be missing. The soup, which of course couldn't be missed, turned out to be one of the best "Peking" soups I've had in recent years. Unfortunately there was no other alternative soup for vegetarians. The next negative thing that caught the eye was the finished products. As with almost every Asian buffet, the small spring rolls, nuggets, breaded shrimp, schnitzel and other things were guaranteed to come from the convenience food front. But I wouldn't expect anything else. There was no surprise in terms of taste and it turned out to be the usual uniformity. The “freshly” cooked dishes were more or less up and down. Since I don't eat sushi myself, I have to trust the reports from my companion that they were very good across the board. The fried rice and fried noodles, on the other hand, turned out to be better than in some other Asian buffets, but were still pretty bland in terms of taste. The roasted beef was a revelation, but the duck was a disappointment. The eight delicacies were delicious, the fried shrimp were way too over-seasoned. The selection of freshly fried dishes was also sufficient when it came to vegetables and meat. The temperatures of the food in the displays were OK, the fresher the food was, the warmer it was. But I couldn't describe any food that day as cold. If a meal was “empty” it was refilled within a few minutes that day. The desserts were mostly frozen products but O.K. The fruit is fresh and the chocolate fountains are no surprise. The black sesame ice cream (also a ready-made product) was a surprise and also tasted very good. Finally, I would like to highlight the homemade lemonades, which in my opinion alone would justify a visit. In terms of price, I have to say that, in my opinion, the buffet, like most other Asian buffets, is unfortunately a bit overpriced (but we now know that in advance and it is therefore not a real reason for complaint). All in all, the “Lin Asia Restaurant” is, in my opinion, an above-average buffet that is worth a visit.
