This is a busy Bbq and Sichuan restaurant located on the second floor of time square. We came here Friday at 12, and seated immediately since they open at noon , and not taking reservations for group under 5, you need to come early to avoid waiting time. We ordered many dishes: Cold noodles-5/5 Beef stomach-5/5 Lamb kabobs 4/5 Eggplants 5/5 Frog legs in chili sauce 5/5 Rice cakes 5/5 Cauliflower 4/5 All are delicious, I liked eggplants the most, so crispy outside and tender inside with that combination of spicy and sweet flavors, I loved it. Portion size is small though, staff service is fast and friendly. Relaxing atmosphere and good for friends gathering, Will come back try more dishes
I went by this week. I ordered cauliflower, which tasted great. The eggplant was excellent! Also, one of my favorites was the cucumber spicy salad!!! This restaurant offers barbecue food and other delicacies. The food was overall very good, and we got our orders very quickly. I noticed they have private room too. We ordered chicken skewers, fried rice and fried cauliflower. The service were lovely. We will come back soon.
There can be a long wait. We were #14 on the list when we arrived. No paper menu, you need to order on the phone. I wanted to talk to the waiter for recommendations before I ordered if I come to the place for the first time. We enjoyed all the dishes we got, though all of them are pretty salty. The pickled beef with fresh ginger was excellent. I enjoyed the layers of flavors with different veggies in it. 鱼香肉丝 is one of the best I've ever had. Beef in chili sauce BBQ is great too, though a bit too salty to my taste. Overall a great place for Sichuan food. I wish the wait can be shorter.
