Un havre de paix une bulle d’air en plein paris. Une résidence secondaire sans les frais d’entretien d’une maison ni les bouchons du WE. Bref un choix que j’ai fait il y a quelques années et dont je me félicite à chaque fois que je passe la porte de ce club huppé mais familial et très sympathique. Laurent Lethuilier (membre du LPR)

LPR: A Tennis Club that only advocates single-parent families? My son signed up for the tennis tournament this April. Here we are at the entrance: My son, his mother, his father! But now, only one parent is tolerated. Do we have to choose between mom and dad? An absurd decision, imposed by Lagardère Paris Racing (LPR). This situation raises questions about the values that this club claims to defend. We were there, just to accompany our child in a sporting moment. Don’t worry, I didn’t take my swimsuit to dirty the pool, nor business cards to expand my network by “abusing” this “prestige” club. At LPR, the values seem, like me, to stay at the front door. At LPR “people from outside” are subject to quotas, one person per player. LPR seems to have lost sight of the spirit of the sport, its fundamental values, and the friendly atmosphere of a club. After two calls to obtain authorization from General Management, the response was astonishing: “We cannot accept in the name of fairness.” Ironic, isn't it? Create a rule devoid of human values and legitimize it in the name of fairness. Despite everything, I told my son to give the best of himself during this tournament, with his mother as his only supporter. This story may seem insignificant, but the feeling that drives me to write these words. Perhaps others will find it right to share this message on the networks, so as not to accept such behavior.
