This man was a God send. After a long day of hitch-hiking after an Air BnB gone bad, train rides, and bus rides, we finally got to Rome. My buddies and I were exhausted and not quite sure where to stay. Thankfully at La Petite Fourchette we were about to run into one of the best blessing to date. The owner of La Petite Fourchette saw we were tired, and began talking with us. When I said we were form New York his eyes lit up and said, don't worry my friends, I will show you Italian food! We were given a full 3 course meal...Pastries, espresso, AMAZING Fettuccine Alfredo, and then a beautiful and delicious mousse cake...and he gave it my me and my friends, for FREE. All he asked is that we share the word about his food in New York. I am posting this to say that the food, the service, and the OWNER are amazing....It meant so much after a long day in a new country to be met with such warmth and kindness (and delicious food). When I go back to Rome, I will be going here (and paying, for a well worth it meal!)
