Très bonne surprise avec ce restaurant. Une terrasse très agréable bien cachée à l'écart de la route. Une délicieuse cuisine, du choix, du bon goût et assez copieux. Service convivial, rapide et sympathique. Seul bémol le bruit et les odeurs de cuisine stagnent un peu dans le restaurant. Mais j'y retourne sans hésiter ;) Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

TLDR: The restaurant owner was unbelievably rude and incredibly aggressive and unfair towards us because we ordered drinks, rather than a meal.We were awaiting a train so we decided against food. We absolutely won't be going back though!I never leave reviews, but this was the service we've ever received.---We recently visited Le Patio for some drinks to escape the scorching summer heat, while awaiting a train.We were greeted by 3 friendly waitresses (one of which appeared to be one of the owners).We were led to a very beautiful back garden where we proceeded to order drinks.The menu looked great and we were tempted to order food, but our train that was due fairly soon, so we decided against it.A waitress returned to take a food order. We immediately explained that we were only there to have drinks (something which we hadn't been asked on arrival). She was very friendly and understanding and took the menus away.About 1 minute later, a man (presumably the other owner / her husband), came storming out into the garden from inside the restaurant, barking at us that we couldn't simply drink outside.He immediately, incredibly rudely picked up our drinks and started making his way back inside, proclaiming that they were a restaurant not a bar.I have never in my life as an adult seen someone in hospitality as visibly angry as he was.We followed them inside apprehensively, where they had set down our drinks on a small table. They suggested, quite nonchalantly, that we finish them there.My french isn't particularly good, but (with the aid of Google translate) I explained that we didn't know that we couldn't simply have drinks and that they were acting like we knew there would be a problem — an exceptionally diplomatic understatement given the owner's behaviour.They explained they had a lot of people coming later. This felt somewhat unlikely given the location of the restaurant (not to mention the fact that the only other customer was a lonely man eating his salad next to us in silence). But perhaps they had some kind of large booking for lunch.Regardless, if it was such a major issue, this is for them to determine from us on arrival, not for us to telepathically decipher. The phrase "are you eating or just having drinks, sir?" was completely absent from our initial interaction.He was still viscerally raging, banging around in the kitchen in the background while we unravelled what had happened with the other members of staff.If I'm completely honest, he was acting like a child. We are still in disbelief at how angry he was. It's the kind of thing you'd expect to see behind closed doors, never directed at paying customers.I explained to them it wouldn't feel right to finish the drinks. We paid the bill (in retrospect this felt too kind on our behalf), and left to the quiet apologies of the waitresses and the other owner (presumably his wife). It felt as though they were bound by his will and were forced to support him.Sadly, despite a lovely oasis garden and what looked like great food in an otherwise horrible location, we would absolutely NOT recommend Le Patio.The behaviour of the owner was categorically unacceptable and quite frankly, absolutely disgusting.
