Nous avons pris une commande pour emporter.Le poulet Général Tao étais très salée , peu de poulet ou pas de poulet dans la pâte. La soupe won ton manquais de goût. Les rouleaux trop gras, et le rizÉtais très fade. C était YARK!!! Trop, un beau nom de restaurant, pour une si mauvaise bouffe. DÉCEVANTNous avions rayée ce restaurant de notre liste,

For years I have been going to this restaurant to eat-in or order takeout. As a customer for almost 8 years, I enjoyed the food and the prices but this week I was shocked by the service. I was sadly disappointed by the female owner's comment to me about the cappucino in a cardboard cup that was sitting on my table when we first arrived. She asked what it was and when I replied that it was coffee, she said that outside drinks were not allowed. When I asked what? ... she repeated her comment so I asked what she wanted me to do but she did not respond so I said that I would know for next time. She repeated that outside drinks were not allowed but I had no idea what she expected me to do.... throw it out? walk outside and drink it like a criminal? leave her restaurant? I might have left if I had not been with my elderly mother! In any case, I stayed put and she walked away but I was extremely embarrased and angry and I felt that she should have used better judgement and not said anything. How in the world could she think that trying to enforce an unpublicized policy was important? Didn't she even consider that it would antagonize an existing or new customer? It was not as if I brought in a bottle of wine or other food....it was a coffee cup filled with the end of a cappucino purchased from another local Aylmer business! Since her restaurant only serves regular coffee at $1.50 was that amount of money more important then the $25 lunch bill (and the $5 tip she got from my mother !!) Unfortunately that is the last money she will ever receive from me, my family or my close friends. Luckily for them....they have a well established business with many fans but all my happy memories of meals with friends and family at this restaurant are now tainted by a rude 5 minute attempt to enforce a non-publicized policy! I am sad to say that I can never step into this restaurant again. Luckily, I have many options for food and drinks at businesses that are within walking distance of this restaurant and have provided excellent customer service to date. My wish to support local Aylmer business can be satisfied without ever returning to Lanterne de Szechwan. I have many friends who own restaurants and restaurants that I visit often who have told me that running a restaurant is a tricky business.....good customer service can make or break your luck. I hope that when this restaurant reads my comments they think twice before ever treating a customer like this again! The other local restaurants that I will be supporting include:
