We had lunch the restaurant was packed so we sat at the bar we got served a beer quickly but after 15 I had to call the bartender so we could place our order he said I forgot about you. Nice! After 45 minutes and a couple beers our food came out. I ordered the brisket bartender’s recommendation it came out stone cold he reordered my meal. I can notice the bartender had to take tables too which he was struggling two table came 20 minutes after us one got their food the same time as us and the other didn’t and ended up walking out.
I finally got my meal he explained there was no runner for running his food as a chef that is the greatest thing to have in a busy restaurant and you get hot meal. The taco soup was good but the brisket was hot but dried out like jerky. I complained and the bartender said no one has ever complained about it before. He never asked to replace it or to order something else just I’ll take it off your bill. I have never left a restaurant hungry and they couldn’t give a care about and how to properly deal with the issue. Sever training is needed. The beers he over poured was amazing waste profits down the drain. Every 6 beers that he over poured would equal a beer and if this is your business I would watch his pouring, there was a waitress pouring beer not any waste a professional tap pourer.
We have been there quit a few times our favourite place to go to when we’re in kenora. Each time we have the service and food has been going down hill. I would highly recommend a food runner during the busy time and that same person to bus tables. All the waitresses had problems keeping up to their tables. Customers coming had to clean their own table.

Food was awesome had the fried pickles and smoked chicken quesadillas which was the feature and the guacamole was homemade and delicious and my husband had some wings.. it was our first time there and we were super impressed with the food. Also the service was fantastic, we sat up at the bar, the whole restaurant was full the bar tender was making drinks for the whole place and serving a packed bar.. she didn’t miss a trick

London fish on the menue. Yesterday was the first time I have been to the brew pub and I was not impressed .It smelled like it had been washed with a dirty mop ant the fish and chips were extremely greasy. There was not even half of a walleye filet served which was cut into four small chunks .The quantity of fries was way over done but that still did add up to the $16.00 which was charged.I don't mind paying for a meal anywhere but I will not be back at the Lake of the woods brewing company
