Booked a table for 2 at 6.15pm on Saturday evening for 8.30pm, right from the phone call there was education, courtesy and kindness... Upon our arrival, we were welcomed by the owner who made us sit down, and, even before bringing us the menus, he asked us, given the heat, if we would like some water (something that has never happened)... A very respectable menu, both for the choices of meat and fish... We opted for an appetizer of various cured meats and typical cheeses, with the addition of giardiniera, caramelized Tropea onions, candied pears... I asked to bring a green salad together with this appetizer, specifying that I don't want rocket... I was told by the owner not to worry, as they offer gentle salad, and not rocket, as it is a salad to accompany and not to serve... A generous plate of salad... For first courses we opted for fusilli with cream and speck and orecchiette with cherry tomatoes, stracciatella and sausage (not exactly summery, but with an amazing taste)... Furthermore, the dishes arrived together, so we could eat together... As second courses we opted for mixed grilled meat and vegetables with a slice of polenta and the tagliatelle with cherry tomatoes and parmesan... We didn't use the wine because we didn't feel like it... With plenty of bottles of water and soft drinks, coffee (we would have liked to have dessert too, but we were too full)... Price suitable for what we ate, both from the point of view of quantity and quality... I highly recommend it as the taste experience we had was phenomenal, we will definitely return on our next trip to the area...
