Excellent food, great ambience (we sat at the bar!) friendly staff and great service! We each ordered a main and drinks, service was quick and professional. Only lost point for the loud bartender complaining about just about everything to the cook at the bar, swearing loud and speaking inappropriately

Avenue des Canadiens is a new restaurant at the Airport, beside where Moe's used to be. This is a Montreal Canadiens hockey team themed restaurant, with memorabilia and logos all over the place. One of the first places you see it is right behind the host station: A very tall "wall" of hockey sticks. Also, behind the bar there is a very large poster with that iconic pose of Ken Dryden, leaning on his goalie stick.

I had a burger with smoked meat and cheese. Not a bad sandwich. Unfortunately service was not very fast, which can be problematic at an airport. My total time there was just over an hour. So leave yourself plenty of time if you are going to sit down for a bite.
