I haven’t been to La Rev since they renovated and I’m so happy I finally visited again! First off the renovation looks great! The service is top notch and the food is excellent. We had a bunch of items (ceviche, grilled chicken tacos, creamy poblano tacos) and everything was very good. The band was a lot of fun and the energy was positive and upbeat. My only small critique would be the placement of the band and sound system. We were near the front but it was hard to hear a good mix from the band. Didnt see any speakers pointing beyond the front of the house. Also the piano is placed so that the piano player (who last night was the unbelievable Julian Fauth!!) has his back to the crowd. Maybe having the band right at the front so the music project and the piano placed so that the audience can see them would be ideal! Despite this the place is great! Music, food, drinks, service, vibe all A+++!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Enchiladas, Guacamole, Ceviche
