Saying "inn at the post office" does not enhance the beautiful Venetian villa from the 1600s with a roof made by the master shipwrights of Venice, practically the internal structure of an overturned ship of the time... but the beauty of it is that it is a beautiful ancient structure where you can taste a very high quality ice cream that boasts the three cones comparable to hotel stars. The owner, Mr. Scaldaferro, the one of the famous mandorlato on the occasion of the Riviera Fiorita, promoted a tasting of his ice cream, in particular the saffron ice cream, ice cream by true connoisseurs! But not just ice creams of a variety and quality that you can't find anywhere else. Mr. Scaldaferro explained how he produces his ice cream with very high quality products such as salt marsh honey, rose honey, but from a particular type of rose, all very well explained down to the smallest details, it was so satisfying to hear it that at the end of the tasting after about an hour and a half, I felt like I had watched an episode of the qark show, it was so well explained. Here I perceived a passion for beauty and a true love for one's work, congratulations...and of course I recommend you go and visit them, you will certainly be satisfied. I forgot everything is located on the Riviera del Brenta in via Ca Tron 31 in Dolo Venice. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

It is now home to the Gelateria Scaldaferro. Good ice cream but not great. The ice cream shop is not adequately signposted. Expensive prices; 2 balls 4.50 euros. In my opinion, a little too much Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
