We were a group of 60 people and they offered us three different menu: meat or fish for 27€ each and vegetarian for 22€. I’ve take the vegetarian menu and we agreed for a vegetable soup, couscous with vegetables, rice rolls and a dessert. I’ve got a chicken soup that I didn’t eat (even if they assured me and other vegetarians people that was all vegetables and didn’t offer me anything in exchange) a couscous with few vegetables on it, and a small dessert. They ask me 29€ for all, and after some discussion I’ve payed 20€ + drinks. The same happened with the other menu. A waiter stole a pack of cigarette filters from a table and one ladies bathroom was broken, and the owner of the restaurant stayed hide all the time. Very bad experience. We were 60 people, booked since 2 weeks before and with agreed menu and price. Once there they gave us less than half of the dishes, with ridicolous portion (someone with half of the dessert, because they didn t have enought for everyone!) with a very bad service. Sometimes they spoke English in a comprensible way, but when we had to complain about something only Arab... The owner was not there, and she refused to talk by phone because "I cannot handle this problem now". Bad place, terrible service and just acceptable food quality. I recently dined at a restaurant in Tunis with a group of 60 people. We had booked this reservation 15 days in advance, expecting a smooth experience for such a large group. Unfortunately, it was an absolute disaster. First, they served meat in the vegetarian meals, which is completely unacceptable. When we raised the issue with the staff, the waiters were rude and hostile, as if we were the ones in the wrong. No apology or attempt to rectify the mistake—just pure unprofessionalism. On top of that, the portions were shockingly small. Everyone in our group was still hungry after the meal. For the price we paid, we expected decent portions, but what we got was far from satisfying. Considering we had made the reservation two weeks in advance, I would have thought they’d be more prepared, but it felt like they didn’t care at all about the quality of the service or the food. I would never recommend this place to anyone, especially for large group bookings. Poor service, bad food, and a very disappointing experience overall. Avoid at all costs!
