We used to always enjoy going to La Castagnas, but since the change of ownership the quality of the service has decreased significantly and last night, despite the good food, we were very disappointed. We both had pizzas which were delicious. From the beginning, the service and our waiter made us feel as if we were more of a burden than welcome in the restaurant. Anyone can have a bad day, but not once did the waiter smile or be friendly. After the first drink, we were not asked again during the entire visit if we wanted to drink anything else, even though our glasses were empty. The restaurant wasn't particularly full. The waiter was standing at the counter with his arms crossed or was on his cell phone. After clearing away we weren't asked if we wanted coffee or dessert, no one came to our table, so my friend had to get up and go to the counter himself. He then ordered a tiramisu, which was first promised and then didn't come because it was still frozen. Unfortunately we felt really uncomfortable. Very tasty and cozy. Bruschetta was tasty and the bread was perfectly crispy/soft. Steak was perfectly cooked and the vegetables were fresh. Very tasty Aperol Spritz. The service was also good. Gladly again! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
