Rue Obscure doit absolument être visitée après un délicieux repas dans ce restaurant. Si vous n'avez jamais goûté la cuisine française, venez à La Caravelle. La plupart des clients recommandent d'essayer un veau délectable. C'est une bonne idée de commander un tiramisu cuit à la perfection. Le plus souvent, vous reviendrez à ce lieu pour déguster un vin rosé délicieux. Selon les opinions des invités, les serveurs proposent un café bon ici.

C'était excellent. Nous avons eu le plaisir de découvrir ce restaurant hier par hasard. L'accueil, le service attentionné et les plats... C'est le meilleur agneau que je n'ai jamais mangé ! Bravo au chef tout était délicieux et préparé avec amour, ça se sentait. Merci encore nous reviendrons ! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Tout à fait décevant Nous étions 6 personnes, 5 personnes ont commandé un plat et 1 personne a voulu commander simplement 1 entrée ce qui n'est pas accepté dans ce restaurant !!! Car on ne dépense pas suffisamment d'argent pour que le propriétaire puisse payer ses employés, son loyer, aux dires du propriétaire ... Le personnel et le propriétaire ont été fort désagréables. Nous sommes donc partis juste après avoir pris un apéritif que nous avons réglé bien entendu ! Service: 1

We dined at this restaurant today. First off, the food was good. This review was not about the food. But given the price of the dishes (there is definitely an up charge because it is a touristy spot- we have had similar but better food at a Michelin guide restaurant inside of Nice with a lower price), we expect the wait staff to not be rude to us. One of the dishes we ordered was whole grilled fish so we had to debone it. The asian waitress brought out an empty plate with some alcohol wipes on it but my husband didn’t see so he put his fish bones on the table. The caucasian waitress came by and started yelling at us and lecturing us that we should not put bones on the table. Here is her lecture: + oh my god i gave you everything. Why did you put bones on the table? After i told her we didnt know/overlooked that the plate with the alcohol wipes was for bones (nobody told us specifically plz put fish bones here). She went on like this: + i have to wash 100 of these table cloths every day by hand (note: it’s not a big table cloth that covers the whole table. It’s a rectangular piece of cloth that partially covers the table). I get paid to serve food not to wash table cloths. —> Well then maybe your manager should either invest in a basic washing machine or give you a raise for washing the table cloths if you think your current pay doesn’t include that part of the job and it’s so unjust that you have to wash them + if the table cloth is too oily, i have to throw it away. —> Hhmmm i have never seen any soap that cannot remove grease or oil from fabric, and note this is not silk or fancy materials- it’s a basic white polyester or cotton table cloth) Then she walked away because yes she was busy. She then went to her manager to complain loudly about us. Completely classless. After our meal, i pulled her aside and told her she should not have that attitude with customers over something so little and that she was rude. She started exploding and telling me not to cry lol. I wasn’t even crying and was very calm. She was the one who completely exploded, and kept going on and on: + our restaurant is one of the first restaurants here and we serve good food. —> well i wasn’t giving you feedback about your food. It is your attitude. And also, we don’t eat at your restaurant for FREE do we? We paid for the food and the service so you don’t have any RIGHT to yell at us like that. + i was nice to you and gave you an extra table to accommodate the plates the because you ordered 3 main dishes —> nobody said you were not nice in the beginning. You were nice until you started yelling at us about potentially ruining your table cloth. + i have never seen in 15 years working here that someone put bones on the table. —> oh im sorry in my culture we do that, if we don’t happen to have a vessel for holding them. After that we CLEAN and WIPE the table, period. Of course we don’t purposefully put food on a FANCY table cloth but there is nothing a good soap and some bleach would not fix for a polyester/cotton white no pattern table cloth. Sorry if my culture is inferior to your french culture, or maybe you should travel to see the world more!!! + i wasn’t rude to you. —> hhmm okay in what culture is yelling and lecturing customers NOT RUDE? Maybe we got yelled at because we are not white??? It seems that all the reviews about this waitress’s attitude are from nonwhite people lol. Bottom line: if you eat at this restaurant, be careful, don’t spill your food or wine, because you will get yelled at. Dear rude waitress at La Caravelle: let me know if you want me to drop off 10 euros for you tomorrow so you can go buy some tablecloths, so next time you don’t have to yell at your customers and complained about handwashing them.
