Coffee was alright, but pastries seemed to be underbaked, at a glance. I picked the cheese scone and a doughnut, since they seemed like some of the most fully baked items. The scone turned out to be quite underdone inside despite some better browning on the outside compared to the other pastries, but wasn’t quite subpar enough that I would disrespect the relatively good ingredients by not finishing it. With the doughnut, though, I gave up after one bite, because it tasted and felt exactly like raw dough. That may have had to do with it being gluten free without much thought being put into the distinct requirements of gluten free baking. The croissant/danish items look like they could be better, but I haven’t tried them. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Hi Max, thank you for the feedback and review. Yes our doughnuts our gluten-free and vegan and bake. The texture is very different compare to a fry doughnut to get at other bakeries. About the scone, that is surprising. I will discuss internal and review accordingly. It would have be great feedback to bakery manager when onsite. Thanks again for the feedback. Cheers Eric

Excellent coffee & baked goods, but didn’t overly enjoy the food. Chicken salad was tasty, but not very much chicken. Ham & cheese panini - the cheese was closer to cheese-wiz / processed cheese than real cheddar. Would definitely come back for coffee & a baked treat. But would avoid for a meal. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Hi Sheri, thank you for your feedback and review. I am glad you love the coffee and baking goods. Not sure what happen with the food. Normally our portion is very large. I will discuss with the manager. About the ham panini, I can assure you we don't use cheese wiz. We only use real and pure ingredients in all our foods including real cheddar cheese. Being in the panani press at time if over grilled melt the cheese too much. It would age been great to bring it to manager attention and correct the situation. We will make it right next time. L'Aromas Coffee & Bakehouse .This great find in the Tsawwassen area.A must-go for cafe service that's simple for you and satisfying for guests. All the baked goods and panini sandwiches I've tried with a special cup of coffee is a perfect match, so delicious! Overall, great dining experience and tasty food paired with lovely staff!
