First time there and will NOT be the last! Had the Meat Sweats with side of chilli and fries and everything was just SO good. Fries were extra crispy, and bbq was amazing. The texture of the sausage took a few bites to get used to since I only get store bought ones, but let me tell you about the brisket!! Hands down the juiciest and most tender slabs of smoked brisket that I’ve ever had. Beautiful bark on the outside, and the meat was so tender and juicy, I thought I was eating expensive wagyu. Price was good value for great food! The sauces also just amplified the eating experience. My fiance and I shared the “Meat Sweats” combo and could not finish. If you haven’t yet, try the food, it was so good. Hoping to try more! Ambiance was also nice, and saw plenty of people yet still a place for us to sit and eat! Orders were going so fast, so be sure to be there early! Otherwise the bbq will be sold out!! Service was quick and super friendly too. The only complaint (but definitely not enough to remove a star) was the chilli was really salty for my taste, (maybe an off day or too much salt by accident?) but food was amazing otherwise. Today, I was looking for some fried chicken, so I ventured out to Kyle's Fried Chicken + BBQ in east London. Things got hot. Looking at their menu, I quickly decided to order two fried chicken sandwiches. First was their OG Sando (original sandwich). This had their original breaded chicken with their ‘Bama White Sauce, coleslaw, and pickles. My other sandwich was the Nashville Hot Sando. It comes in one of five levels of spice, including Mild, Medium, Hót, X Hót, or XXX Hót. I chose Medium. Although there is much spicier than Medium, it humbled my overconfidence. I was sweating, my throat and mouth were on fire, my lips were tingling with numbness, and I needed milk badly. The restaurant itself is spacious and does offer to dine in. They serve craft beer and the inside is filled with old-fashioned beer barrels, giving the place personality. My total was $27: $13 for the OG and $14 for the Nashville. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Kyle’s is the place for spice enthusiasts or fried chicken connoisseurs. And a large part of their menu is even dedicated to BBQ.
