Exhibition starts in August and runs until mid-November. This is way too long!!!! Some of the pumpkins are rotten and there are no more stalls or stands open (because the Christmas market starts at the same time). Same with the dream paths. There are only 2-3 places worth going otherwise everything is dark. No path is lit. Guaranteed to fall. A disgrace for these entry prices! Otherwise, a great experience at the right time of year!

We are sorry that you were not entirely convinced by our exhibition and also by the dream trails. Depending on the weather, it can indeed happen that one or two pumpkins break, but we are always busy sorting out and replacing damaged pumpkins. We hope you still had a good time and thank you for your feedback.
This is the second time my wife and I have visited Ludwigsburg Palace. Each time we came in the fall during the Kürbisausstellung. It is the annual pumpkin festival. This year the theme was fire so the exhibits all had that in their title with the exception of Fred Flinstone where I saw no fire connection. All in all the grounds are gorgeous and the exhibits fun. However, make sure you stay for a meal as most meals have pumpkin in it. The pumpkin soup is amazing! There are many shops selling pumpkin items such as pumpkin pasta, pumpkin hummus, and pumpkin chips. What a fun way to spend the afternoon with friends and family even if you are not a kid.
