Koshary is a famous dish here in EGYPT. It’s their national dish. Since I’m staying in Egypt for a while i’ve tried koshary here and there. Koshary El Tahrir seemed best. Although I don’t really enjoy this dish much i liked it here. Ideal place to get a strong meal for a few bucks. The service and setting is very much like a fast food place, so don't expect much on that front. But the (only) dish they have is quite good, basically noodles, rice, and lentils with tomato sauce. You can get in and out in less than an hour with a full stomach for under 100 egp.
