This surely is one of the nicest restaurants in Vienna if you are looking for a nice evening out with great food and wine. The courses change monthly and the food is simply great. If you choose the wine offering you get perfectly paired wines to each course as well. The staff/owner is super friendly and you will get to know them all as the restaurant is run by three people. This and the atmosphere is what makes it so special in my opinion: you will spend 3-4 hours in a very relaxed atmosphere which is not pretentious at all and will get the great food and wine experience which you would expect from a restaurant. We had dinner at the restaurant yesterday, the 6-course menu. Highly recommend. It was very tasty, original, served with great aesthetics, the dishes looked like a painting on a plate. The hospitality was exemplary, attentive and pleasant. Highly recommended Price per person: €100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

My girlfriend and I had a good restaurant experience at Kommod! Very friendly service, nice and calming interior, good and tasty food. We had the 5-course menu which was very tasty but I was missing some luxurious ingredients in one of the dishes. When ordering a € 89 menu you would hope for a nice piece of fish, shellfish, or game meat. The main course was pork cheek, which was tasty, but missing something special. Don’t get me wrong, this was a great and tasty experience. Price per person: €100+ Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
