My family and I were passing through Altmunster a few weeks ago during a roadtrip through Austria and had one of our best meals at Kleine Freiheit! The location is wonderful; we were sitting outdoors, lakeside, with wonderful views of the mountains. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very relaxing and fun. We had wonderful service, the waiters and waitresses were very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. I had a smoked fish soup that was amazing; definitely one of the best soups I've ever had. For the main course I had the fish and chips which were also excellent. Lastly, they had great music playing, a good blend of chill out, indy rock, classic rock, etc.. The music was so great that my wife asked what it was, and they gave us the name of the Spotify Playlist! I highly recommend this restaurant.
