First time customer and I was looking forward to finding a new Fish N Chips place that does it right. I ordered the COD and the Haddock and was taken back at the 50 price tag. I ordered two, under $20 plates and it still came out to over $50. I got my order took it home and sat down to eat. I was very pleased with the fish but not so much by the French fries that tasted or textured as double fried or just not fried enough even though they were dark and patchy with the golden brown fry appeal. Cold slaw was different, very thinly sliced cabbage with some vinegar on it, thats it. Two days later I find the receipt in my pocket and realized that the server who rang my order up failed to get my order right. Instead I received the Haddock and the Halibut. It really is my fault for not look at the receipt while I was there and I could have cleared it up before it was to late. Moral of the story . Always check your bill. Sorry King of Fish N Chips, but you did not make my list of Great Fish N Chips. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$20–30 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
