Great options for eating in or takeaway here. I bought vegan summer rolls and a jar of kimchi. The summer rolls were fresh and bright with herbs, chillies, tofu and noodles. The kimchi ws a bit salty imo but seems to match the austrian palette. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: €10–20 Vegetarian options: Lots of proper vegetarian and vegan options!

Let’s start with the good. This is probably the only place in town where you can get a Bento experience - with modern Korean flavors. The Bentos here are not only affordable but ridiculously delicious. A generously sized baked fish fillet for 12 euros, Korean ribs for the same price, and a Japchae lunch for just 10 euros. These are deals you don’t often find in a city where price gouging is the norm. Even in District 9, an affluent middle class area, they keep prices fair so that everyday people can enjoy a great meal. In that regard, Kim Shop truly rocks. But I do have a gripe. It wasn’t until my third visit that I realized they had a loyalty program. A rare perk for a restaurant, but why keep it a secret? No one mentioned it at checkout, and I only stumbled upon it by chance. It almost feels like they don’t want customers to know about it, which defeats the whole purpose. When I pointed out that I’d already been there multiple times, the staff still insisted I needed proof - despite having seen me for half a week. What if a loyal customer only found out about this program after a month? It gives the impression that regulars aren’t truly valued. Just explicitly announce the loyalty program at the check out; you’d only win over more hearts. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
