About 6 months ago, I made a pick up order for some beef pho. I was asked if I wanted mild, medium or hot. I did not know there were different options of heat for pho. I like heat but not for my pho, so I said no heat at all. 25 minutes later, I picked up my order and went home (out of town) to eat it. When I oped the bag, the inside of it was drenched in a red greasy substance. I could tell by the smell, that the substance was very spicy hot. I attempted to eat the soup but I just could not enjoy it w the amount of heat it had. I admit that some people may like the heat but not me, and it was not what I ordered. There was too much noodles and not enough broth. Still, I felt everyone deserves a second chance... This evening, I drove into the city to get another order of beef pho and some pork and vegetable spring rolls. Man! Was I disappointed again! The 1litre container that had my beef pho was filled to the brim with rice noodles. There was not 1 drop of broth in that container. I love pho for the broth. The meat and noodles are just a small added treat but the broth is where the magical flavor is. Regretfully, there was absolutely no god flavor except noodles and stale cuts of beef that clearly were previously frozen. The spring rolls taste like the came from the frozen food section of Costco. Over $35 plus a tip and that's what I paid for! KEO'S KITCHEN, I'm sure you know sales are down and the dining room has not been full like it used to, like in the 1st year you were open. It's because maybe the food is subpar. Maybe time for new cooks. The service seems fine but that doesn't make up for gross food. KEO'S KITCHEN has permanently lost my patronage...
