Unfortunately all promotions have to come to an end at some point or another. Due to the high costs of dining out these days we simply cannot afford to give our food away at half price any longer. It was just not making financial sense any longer. We advertised this fact on Facebook & Instagram the week before and apologise that you did not know that the promotion had ended. Leaving the small GNO slide in sign was an oversight on our part, thank you for bringing that to our attention. These oversights happen when promotions come to end in some form or another. We took it off all of our social media platforms, took our posters down and took it off the website, however we overlooked the sign. This you noticed after your visit and not before. The waitress accidentally rang up a carafe of red wine instead of a bottle. You brought this to our attention, and the problem was rectified. In the matter regarding staff not being able to ring up a bottle of wine when there are only two left. There is no such rule or protocol in place and we are not sure what she meant. Perhaps it was a miscommunication. I think that your statements that something is ‘seriously wrong’ and ‘very sad?’ are baseless and somewhat dramatic. Furthermore Sharon, I think that your 1 Star rating is a bit harsh. Especially coming from someone who has been a regular of ours for many years. Granted that you are upset that GNO has come to an end, and so are many other ladies. Regards, Greg
