Après avoir visité Altstadt von Innsbruck, essayez ce café qui n'est pas très loin. Si vous n'avez jamais goûté la cuisine allemande, venez à Cafe Katzung. Today we visited Café Katzung with a couple of friends and our children to try their cake. Unfortunately, the experience was truly negative—not because of the place itself, but because of the waitress who served us. Right when we arrived, I accidentally spilled some milk on the tablecloth. She immediately told us, in a very harsh tone, that we had to move. After we moved, the same waitress warned us to “be careful” about what we ordered because, with so many people at the table, it would be a problem if we made a mistake. Things escalated further when she got annoyed and insisted that our one-year-old son had to remain seated. Shortly after, she told us to leave, brought the bill and started shouting, saying that “in her country” children are well behaved and ours are not, and that we were not welcome guests—this happened in front of several other tables. I felt attacked and extremely uncomfortable. The service was rude, arrogant and completely unprofessional. Based on how we were treated, I would not recommend this café to families or to anyone expecting basic courtesy and respect. Oggi siamo stati al Café Katzung con una coppia di amici e i rispettivi figli per assaggiare la loro torta. Purtroppo l’esperienza è stata davvero negativa, non per il locale in sé, ma per l’atteggiamento della cameriera che ci ha serviti. Appena arrivati, per un incidente mi è caduto del latte sulla tovaglia e ci è stato detto in modo brusco che dovevamo spostarci. Dopo esserci spostati, la stessa cameriera ci ha ripreso dicendo che dovevamo “fare attenzione” a cosa ordinavamo perché, essendo in tanti, se ci fossimo sbagliati sarebbe stato un problema. La situazione è poi degenerata quando si è innervosita perché ci è stato intimato che il nostro bimbo di un anno “doveva stare seduto”. Poco dopo ci è stato detto di andarcene e ci è stato presentato il conto con toni urlati, aggiungendo frasi offensive del tipo: “Nel mio Paese i bambini sono educati e i vostri no” e che “non eravamo ospiti graditi”, il tutto davanti ad altri clienti. Mi sono sentita aggredita e profondamente a disagio. Un comportamento arrogante, scortese e per nulla professionale. Per come siamo stati trattati, sconsiglio questo posto a famiglie e a chiunque cerchi un minimo di accoglienza e rispetto. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Meal type: Brunch Price per person: €10–20
