The bartender last night was great! Gave us an informative story on the origin on Aquavit and Prohibition in Icelandic history. A fun time! Great food too..the cured lamb was amazing and the open faced sandwich was the way to go to try a bit of everything Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: kr 10,000–12,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My husband and I were guests at the adjacent hotel. We decided to walk next door for dinner and we had a fantastic meal & service. We ordered the fish of the day a local special that was outstanding! Our server was great and we left a nice tip which is not expected but worth complimenting great service! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very bad experience. My husband and I ordered a beer and a glass of white wine, starter and main here. I generally don't have the habit of checking bills at restaurants because I trust them. But when we got home and checked the bill, it said one of two different beers and we only ordered one. If two glasses of the same beer were billed, the waiter may have made a mistake, but the point is that the bill stated two different beers, which seemed to be on purpose. What was even more unpleasant was that my husband ordered mussels as a starter and pepper steak as a main course. After returning home, he had a very uncomfortable stomach, diarrhea, and went to the toilet three times at night. The prices here are much more expensive than the restaurants we usually go to (very good restaurants). I ordered a small glass of white wine for 3.800 kr, equivalent to 26.6 euros (we are from Germany). It was recommended by the waiter. I've seen people say it's expensive here online, but I didn't expect like this. The service and environment are average, just because the table is covered with white tablecloths? Everything doesn't match up. It's okay to be more expensive, but you can't cheat the guests! We think they treat us like tourists and think we won't come again, so they can cheat us. We are not tourists, we have been working in Reykjavik for almost 2 years, we used to go to other restaurants like Three coats, Nauthóll, Potturinn og Pannan, Messinn etc...This has never happened before.We are always satisfied there. We are very disappointed here -at Kastrup restaurant. We definitely won't be coming here again. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
