Unfortunately most, if not all of the shops in Kaskad shopping Mall, Cheboksary, all sell inferior cheap clothing made in undesirable materials, mostly polyester and other synthetics. I tried on several pairs of jeans in different stores, all were very poor fitting, either far to long, too tight around the legs or too big around the waist! And I'm an average medium size with a 34 waist. Most of the jeans don't have the vitally important inside leg measurement, only the waist measurement - so very difficult to find some which actually fit. Also very difficult to find a sports shop with an extensive range of training shoes, for example. Plus there's nothing branded, so no Nike, Adidas, Puma, and if you're lucky enough to find some, the range will be extremely limited. I also struggled to find simple cotton plain colour socks, most had at least 20% polyester, which stops your feet from breathing. New Yorker shop was where I found some jeans which were well sized for me. Bu again, no branded clothing, like Levi's, Wrangler, etc. The branded clothing usually has the best fitting and cuts. So to conclude, for me, coming as a visitor from another country, I found all of the shops in Kaskad so basically be the same, just the name of each shop was different. The reason I went to Kaskad is the airline lost my luggage so I was desperate to buy a few essential clothes for the 2-3 days which it usually takes for an airline to locate and deliver your lost luggage, but as I said, I struggled to find even the most basic, plain simple clothing in any shop in Kaskad. Anyway, just another one of hundreds of life's different experiences. All staff in all shops were welcoming an helpful. Sadly, the unavailability of branded clothing may well be attributed to the sanctions imposed by the collective west imperialist hegemony
A variety of different shops, cafes, entertainment places. But it’s very difficult to navigate, especially if it’s your first time. My husband and I searched for the entrance where we parked our car for about 30 minutes.
Probably the most inconvenient shopping center in the city. The exits are incomprehensible, without knowing you can circle around for 10-15 minutes, you can even exit in the wrong direction, because there are no signs where this exit leads, to the parking lot, to the city or to the Bay.
