University Palace est une super attraction pour les touristes qui viennent manger dans ce restaurant après une longue marche. La cuisine roumaine de Kane offre des repas authentiques. Vous pouvez toujours apprécier un filet américain délicieux à ce lieu. La plupart des clients recommandent de goûter un crème au chocolat délectable.

La carte des vins est impressionnante, elle ravira tous les palais. Le plus souvent, vous reviendrez à cet endroit pour essayer un frappe au chocolat immense. Un personnel créatif attend les clients tout au long de l'année. Un service à ce restaurant est spectaculaire. On vous recommande aussi cet endroit car il propose un prix raisonnable. Restaurant We went to Kané for New Year’s Eve to celebrate. The night started good and we had some really good cocktails before the food arrived. We had 2 lovely waiters that also told us about some fun games they prepared. The first 2 courses came pretty fast and the waiters were explaining the food pretty well and everything was as it should be. Then, we were ignored for 2 hours until, around midnight, they remembered that we had a champagne included, so they hurried all the guests to get out. I speak the local language so I understood when they said that they forgot about the champagne and that they do not have enough glasses for everyone. After that, the main course arrived around 00:45 and at that point, we received no explanation about the food anymore and everything was chaos. I am lactose intolerant and even thought we talked with Kané in advance about it and were assured they could accommodate this, they forgot that I had this allergy after the third ‘Act’ and I was served the same food as everyone else. The games were abandoned completely. When the live music started, one of the waiters, was aggressively forcing people to dance. He came to our table and when we refused to go out and dance, he tossed the menu on our table. Overall the atmosphere was very weird but the mist of the food and drinks were pretty good. The thing that made the experience the worst was that at the end, when we received the check for the drinks, they had added a crazy amount as Tips. We paid 235 euros per person for the food and 1 glass of champagne, then for 5 people, the drinks were 1000 ron and the tips they added on the drinks was 770 ron, which we would not have paid voluntarily for the service… Also worth noting, is that the tip was added as the word “Bacșis” which a lot of internationals would confuse with a random drink and it was not signalised as a tip at all. Dear Paul, as with all feedback we appreciate all feedback. We are sad that the overall experience was not good. We did our best to accomodate your group and the purpose of this response is to correct some information which is very inacurate. We cannont say anything about the way you felt, we are sorry you were not happy, but sharing information that is not ture is not fair! You were a party of 5, your friend Isabela who made the reservation received an email with the terms & conditions of the reservation for New Year which clearly stated that an 11% service charge will be included (it is called bacsis because that is the legal name in Romania tax law), we insited with your friend to let us know if there are any intolerances for your group - we were told there were two vegetarians (had we know you were lactose intolerante we would have adapted the menu, on the spot it was hard to change a pre-arrange a special lactose free menu). So we would appreciate if you talked to your friend Isabela to read the email we sent almost a month before the reservation to clarify the untrue elements of the feedback. All the best and again we are sorry we got one star for things we mentioned in advance!
