Great food for both eat in and take out. Also very kind and prompt service. Went to the washroom and saw a 'Helping Hand' basket and I thought this has to be one of the kindest things I've ever seen a restaurant do! My husband and I just came across this restaurant before a matinee at the Strand theatre. Great size of sandwich and soup! Skip the chain restaurants in Simcoe get downtown and get away from the hussle and bussle and enjoy some authenticity! Will be coming back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I wanted to try something new and local this weekend, Kaley's Restaurant definitely hit the spot! We had the Friday Fish special. The haddock portions were large, thick with a nice batter, cooked perfectly! The meal came with fresh fries, cole slaw, bun, and as a nice bonus was the most delicious strawberry cake I've ever had. It's so nice to get a dessert with your meal! The servers were very kind and boxed up my take out order so I could easily drop off a meal for my mom, I didn't even have to ask they just did it because I casually mentioned it when ordering on the phone. Excellent experience, we will certainly order again. Watch out small town on the lake, there's a new fish dinner in the county!
