This must be, by far, the worst Kauai in SA. Service is slow, and basically, the ladies have to be called each and every time. Today, I had to call them again, as both were at the back of the shop again. One lady came out eating and speaking to me whilst eating. It was not a pretty sight! I don't, in all these years, experience the ladies working in this Kauai as friendly. Service is slow, and the waiting time for even a smoothie takes forever. The worst part is the untidy way this Kauai is run. Tables are not cleared. Empty plates are not taken to the kitchen. Paperwork is almost always scattered all over. Empty and dirty utensils are stacked for everyone to see. Even the straw and cup section untidy. This Kauai is for sure not recommended. Unfortunately, they are supported, and bad reviews continue to pop up, as this is the only coffee shop in the area and convenient after gym. It's really time to shape up Kauai Vanderbijlpark. I sincerely hope the head office reads this review. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

I’ve been a member at Virgin Active for a while now, have recently joined Vanderbijlpark virgin due to my work. Today on the 18/12/2023 at around 18h30, I went to buy at Kauai. I waited for approximately 7 minutes and there was no one to help, I then called the gym instructors who were at the counter asking if there was anyone at the shop. A very rude lady came out and shouted “ausi I’m working alone, I’m still busy”. She expected us to know that she was alone regardless of not informing us. Sometimes a simple acknowledgement about the frustration can help customers to relax, For example “Sorry for keeping you waiting, we’re understaffed “. I would really appreciate it if this can be addressed, such treatment is unacceptable when you’re dealing with clients.
