Cela fait plusieurs fois que je viens dans ce restaurant et c'est toujours aussi bon ! Le service ainsi que les serveurs sont super et essayent de répondre au maximum à nos demandes. Nous avons pris le Poulet biriyani et Boeuf Jahlfreezi cette fois ci à emporter, ainsi que les samoussas viande et légumes et les pains naans. Tout cela pour environ 20€ par personne. On s'est régalés et on y reviendra encore ! I visited Restaurant Joshore Road with a friend, expecting a pleasant experience based on previous visits, but it turned out to be incredibly disappointing. We initially ordered two starters (tandoori momos and aalu chop), one main course (Kolkata Chicken), a naan, and a dessert (mishti doi). But we were quickly informed of an odd policy requiring at least two main courses for two people. My friend, a frequent visitor here, was surprised as she hadn’t encountered this rule even a few weeks ago. The waiter insisted it was a longstanding policy. We felt pressured and had to rethink our entire order. When we reordered, cutting out the starters and adding another main course, the experience didn’t improve. Despite the change, our main courses took an unusually long time to arrive. We ordered tandoori momos in the meantime, which were delivered cold and the waiter served it almost banging it onto our table. When we asked the waiter to reheat them, he brought the plate back with an obvious attitude. Even then, only most of the momos were warm, with one still cold. The seating also felt very congested, with barely enough space to sit comfortably, let alone move around or breathe. It made the overall experience feel cramped and uncomfortable. The naan came to our table before the main courses, and we were told that it was our responsibility to specify we wanted it served with the main course. This was surprising, as it’s usually understood that naan accompanies the main meal. When the tandoori chicken finally arrived, it tasted burnt, with no flavor beyond a burnt char. At the end of our meal, we wanted to provide feedback, but it was met with denial and dismissiveness. The waiter claimed the two-main-course requirement was simply “information” rather than a strict rule, which contradicted the pressure we felt initially. It felt like our concerns were brushed aside rather than addressed. This visit shattered the positive impression we previously had of Restaurant Joshore Road. Given the poor service, contradictory information, congested seating, and unprofessional attitude, I doubt I’ll be returning. Dear Anmol M We are very sorry that you are upset. You and I know that you wrote a comment, it’s not for the problem of food . It’s the reason, that you were two people and you wanted to order only one dish for two people. You know that on Saturday night, we’re very very busy. You occupied two places and you wished to order only one dish. Saturday night is not good for this kind of transaction. My employe tried to explain you. But there was a misunderstanding in between both of you . I’m sorry for that. I was not there. If I would be there , it would not be happened.
