Wnt to John's Family Restaurant for Mother's day and the three of us enjoyed a great brunch. The service was friendly and many families were enjoying a Sunday out! I had waffles with a side of Peameal bacon:delicious. My husband had a spinach /feta omelette, and our guest had the breakfast special. We sat outside on the patio and even though it was very busy inside the staff were very attentive and came back to refill our coffee mugs quite a few times. Highly recommend this family restaurant Parking: Lots of parking available!! The old Johns family restaurant standards are diminishing gradually and the long standing patrons are falling off. The waitrsses (Jackie and Lily) are what keeps people coming - their warm and friendly demeanor. It is only a matter of time though as the quality of meals is hit and miss based on the chef of the day. The manager is rude, treats black people as thieves even when they give a generous tip and does not have a relationship with handwashing

Went for breakfast last weekend and man has it gone downhill. I didn’t recognize any of the wait staff and the new head waitress took forever to seat us, when we were seated the table was filthy, we were served breakfast and not given utensils and we had to ask for a top up for coffee for the first time ever and when we did she forgot to come back. Such a shame as I used to live in this restaurant. I feel like it’s new owners but unless they step up I won’t be going back. Oh and you need a new head waitress she was clearly overwhelmed and it wasn’t even busy, that should have been our first clue as it always used to be packed but then that was because the food and service used to be great.
