Surf and turf...the 'turf' was meant literally.
9 oz steak, well I gave up after the struggle of getting 4 oz of grizzle and tendon out of my mouth and on to the plate. How pleasant is that...one needs to wonder?
Refused to pay for a 9 oz 'turf' that was more struggle than enjoyment...received a $10 discount on a 9 oz steak/turf and ended up paying $31 for 4 prawns and butternut risotto, 'out of season' stringy asparagus .
Service was second to none....as despite maybe having 3 tables to serve, no attention to drinks after the 1 st order were offered.
1 question about how the meal was offered but as I had my mouth full of 9 oz sinew,'turf' I could not answer nor did the server care nor want to know.
She offered a opinsation free dessert on behalf of the 'turf" not eaten....dessert was offered to the 'man' at the table. He ordered the 'free' tiramisu.
I ....probably still trying to have a small sampling of 9 oz sinew did/could not respond.
My friend, a man, had his dessert.
I did not have dessert, nor was offered dessert, despite not being able to eat my sinew.... and by the way, was paying the bill.!!
More than disappointing.
McDonald's food and self service woul have been a welcome night out vs. this ...should I say more?
