Food was decent, but not the best Indian food. Pricey for the amount of food we received and we pre-ordered an hour and a half befor but still ended up waiting 30 minutes anyway because they didn't see our order come in. The lamb and Chana Masala were tasty and the naan was fluffy and fresh, but the butter chicken was too sweet and didn't have much meat in it. A little disappointing when you pay atleast $20 per plate. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$20–30

Sharing my honest/unbiased experience after visiting “Ishina Distinguished Indian Cuisine Inc” We went there after reading Google reviews. Tried mixed veg, Makhani Paneer, Dal makhni and Chpatis. (1) Mixed veg: Frozen cut vegetable packet bought from Walmart. Carrots and Broccoli only in it. Boiled and added salt/garam masala only. Bakwas taste. (2) Makhani Paneer: 6-7 small size pieces in sour gravy. No taste at all. (3) Daal Makhani: no where it is close to Indian daal makhani. (4) Chapati's were hard but eatable. I’m confident the food here poisoned us . It’s the only food we ate in the last 24 hours that we did not eat in the proceeding days. We eat 3-4 times outside in a month. Read reviews and went there with high expectations. I think all 4/5 star Google reviews are paid/fake. Tasteless food and my family scolded me for spoiling the weekend plan. Owner should not cheat customers like this. Not recommended to anyone. Please either cook food at home or go to any other restaurant in town. I would leave zero stars if I could. The food is mediocre for the price and to make it even worse it is not even close to authentic. You should not call yourself a Indian cuisine. ‘Distinguished’ is right in restaurant title because it is the 2nd worst Indian food I have tried in Ottawa during 5 years. Name should be “Ishina Distinguished Worst Indian Cuisine Inc”
