I love Indian food however this is got to be one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. I ordered coconut rice. It’s like they made regular rice and tossed in a handful of coconut. I have never had rice like this before. There’s also little black things in the race, it’s not pepper. It has no taste and I almost chipped a tooth so I’m not sure if it’s debris that came off their pan or what this is nevertheless, it was terrible and DoorDash does nothing. I have deleted my DoorDash account and I will not order from this restaurant again.

Google why do you only have 5 stars to give. I wanna give this place 7 stars. I have had Indian food in many cities across Canada. This place tops all of those. Indian Ocean has the BEST Indian food in Canada. Taste is outstanding and very similar to what you get in India. These guys know what they are doing. I have tried them 4-5 times now and food is always fresh and delicious. Every thing on menu is fantastic. So far I have tried Meat lovers platter, fish pakoras,butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, chicken korma, paneer korma, shahi paneer, palak paneer and of course naans and tandoori roti. Every single time and every single dish has been amazing and satisfying. I will surely recommend this restaurant to everyone!! Amazing job!! I recently dined at Indian Ocean Restaurant and had a mixed experience. The portion sizes were generous, and the food was less oily and served hot as requested. The server was attentive and helpful throughout the meal. However, there was a slight smell from the kitchen, which was a bit off-putting. I ordered the naan and mixed vegetables, which were made with average ingredients like long beans and cauliflower. Despite this, the taste was quite good.
