Imperial China has by FAR the best buffet in Lethbridge. I am an avid Chinese food lover and was introduced to this restaurant recently. I was more than happily surprised by the food and service. The food is fresh, well seasoned, not overly greasy compared to other restaurants and offers a great variety of options. The staff always smiled when making eye contact, and were eager to provide a great experience. The only downfall to this location is the parking lot, it can be difficult to manoeuvre in a large vehicle. Other than that the restaurant is clean, service is great, and the food is excellent. Without a doubt, the best tasting Chinese food in town. The best chicken chow mein. The best ginger beef. The best pineapple chicken. The problem is they don’t seem to have any consistency in their operating hours and they are often closed for long periods of time for no apparent reason. They also don’t offer in-house delivery. BIG drawback. Only three stars because of all that.
