One of the best pizza I had in my life in Neapolitan style. We tried burrata pizzas, and they were amazing. Even though it was business evening hours, they found for us table. We had a very lovely dinner. Dishes might seem a little on the expensive side, but they are definitely worth the price as they are of high quality. Also, compared to other restaurants nearby, prices are similar. The tuna tartar was one of the best we've ever had. Tortelloni with sea bass and prawns was outstanding: perfectly cooked prawns, tasty sauce and pasta. We were served promptly, and the staff was kind and professional. We highly recommend eating here if you are seeking good food in Desenzano. We were looking forward to a nice evening at il posto, as the reviews are mostly positive. Unfortunately we were disappointed in our food and service. As the first in the restaurant, we got both the drinks (except for the water) and the ordered food at the end. But the time was okay. The chicken burger was a pressed patty (which the waiter confirmed) rather than an actual piece of meat. The texture was soft. Rather unusual compared to good specialized burger restaurants. When asked if it was possible to serve the burger with a kind of grilled fillet similar to that of the neighboring table (other dish), this was rejected with the statement: the kitchen doesn't do that. The 16 euro burger remained almost completely and despite the complaint there was no alternative. The side dish was ok. My meal of squid and mashed potatoes wasn't really flavorful. But overall okay. Only the kids spaghetti were good. In general, I can't say anything else about pasta and pizza, maybe the restaurant is better suited here. From our point of view, it is understandable that the arrogant behavior of the staff is often criticized. The value for money does not match.
