De la fenêtre de ce restaurant, la vue sur The Port of Corricella est magnifique. La cuisine méditerranéenne de Il Postino offre des repas authentiques. Vous pouvez commander un poisson cuit à la perfection. Certains visiteurs aiment un liqueur délicieux dans ce lieu.
Un personnel beau attend les clients tout au long de l'année. Une atmosphère calme est ce que représente cet endroit. Mais en comparaison avec d'autres restaurants, Facebook place ce restaurant en dessous de la moyenne.

A wonderful spot to enjoy and also be drawn into romance. My wife and I came to Procida because we have always loved the film Il Postino and we wanted to see where it was filmed. This is the spot where the exteriors of the scenes of the bar were filmed. The interior isn't similar to how it looked in the movie (the inside was actually filmed at a movie set in Rome) yet even if it looked different the inside was very welcoming and evocative of the spirit of the movie. A wall of photographs along with a small display of objects like the Postman's satchel also show some great impressions of the film. Vincenzo treated us wonderfully and we felt so welcome. We ended up coming back over and over because not only was the atmosphere what we were seeking, the food was excellent. The Fusilli di Beatrice (an homage to the character played by the beautiful Maria Grazia Cuccinotta) was superb, perfectly done pasta with vongole (clams) that were fresh and meaty, some cheese, tomatoes and arugula. I'm normally a chocoholic but the lemons of Procida are so special it felt more appealing to have a lemon-based dessert. On our first visit we had a tiramisù al limoncello, made by Vincenzo's wife -- a nice twist on the classic Italian tiramisù. Another dinner there ended with a domed lemon cake filled with cream, also very tasty and light. We stopped for aperitivi one lunchtime and had Campari Spritzes generously mixed. Our last lunch before departing we asked about having some fish grilled. Vincenzo's brother-in-law was seeving tables and brought us a plate filled with fresh fish so we could choose which we wanted to have grilled. Vincenzo was in the kitchen and grilled it to perfection, it was tasty and moist. On top of the great food, it was a pleasure to have conversations about the place, the film and the island of Procida. I am glad we came here often, it made our trip that much more memorable.
