It's true that it was Saturday evening but waiting 1 hour and a half for a pizza seems like too much to me. Wouldn't it be appropriate to reduce the number of covers if you are not able to cover them well?? A truly satisfying culinary experience welcomed us at the renowned Pizzeria Il Gazebo in Pignola. Saturday evening proved to be an authentic riot of flavors and delights, so much so that we were convinced to have an encore on Sunday, before leaving the area after a lovely weekend in the snow. The place immediately struck us with its welcoming atmosphere and attention to detail. The blazing wood-burning oven exuded an irresistible scent of freshly baked pizza, promising an authentic gastronomic experience. Our choice did not disappoint: the pizza was a real treat, with a light and crunchy dough, and the orecchiette and turnip filling gave us a surprising explosion of flavours. The refined flavor and the balance of the combinations won us over from the very first bite. The service was impeccable, the staff courteous and attentive to our needs. Despite frequenting the place, we always felt welcomed with enthusiasm. As for the prices, we can say that they are within the norm and in line with the quality of the food and service offered. We left with the absolute certainty of returning in the future to explore the menu further and discover other specialties that intrigued us. Ultimately, the Pizzeria Il Gazebo proved to be a pleasant culinary discovery, capable of offering a high-level gastronomic experience. We highly recommend it to all those who want to taste authentic delicacies and spend pleasant moments in a refined and welcoming environment.
