An enjoyable evening that leaves a lasting memory and we had a lot of fun. Anyone who reserves a table at Ikarus doesn't want to be full, but rather to be emotionally entertained with culinary delights. Don't worry, we didn't go home hungry, on the contrary. I am still completely enchanted by everything we were able to taste here. You have to get involved and under no circumstances should you judge before you try it. Next time I'll read the menu at home. At least half of an experience like this is the crew that takes care of it and that was really uniquely refreshing. No cerebral 5-star circus that makes you feel like you're not familiar with all the details of etiquette. A young team that enjoys looking after its guests and a sommelier who clearly enjoys entertaining his guests with his knowledge. Incidentally, this perfectly choreographed service begins as soon as you enter Hangar 7 and accompanies you through the entire building until you finally reach Ikarus. Of course, all of this isn't cheap fun - but it's worth the price. You should budget around €600 per person for the evening and arrive at Hangar 7 a good 90 minutes in advance. Then there is enough time to visit the exhibition and have an aperitif in the SkyLounge. Very tasty food. High quality ingredients. Perfectly balanced in taste. Some will say it is expensive. No it's not. It is inexpensive, namely worth its price. There are places where you pay about half as much and a large proportion of the food is industrially manufactured for the freezer. This is anything but inexpensive. I'd rather eat excellent food at Ikarus and pay a little more. I have enough money and my appetite for creative cuisine is unbroken. I'll be visiting there again shortly with my companion and I'm really looking forward to it, even though traffic tickets in Austria are very expensive.
