Returning from a stay in Turin for a wedding, we decide to try the "Iodio" restaurant, open just under a year ago... we could summarize our experience with "but why didn't we come before?!" Thanks to the sporting commitment of AS Roma, who were playing at home, the restaurant seemed to be reserved entirely for us... we were pampered by the very kind waitress As soon as we sat down we were asked what we would like to drink and a very welcome amuse-bouche was brought to us As appetizers we ordered a "Crispy Sphere" (to the eye, three hot Ferrero Rochers... to the taste, an explosion of tuna, nettle and tzatziki sauce) and a "Steamed Bao" (an oriental sandwich, steamed, with prawn, wasabi and cabbage); to follow we were recommended the "Tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and prawns" off the menu (DE-LI-ZIO-SE) and the "Tagliolini with butter, lemon and red tuna" (FAN-TA-STI-CI)! As a second course we took a portion of "Fried calamari, prawns with lemon mayonnaise" (crispy, tasty, not at all greasy and fried in clean oil... practically perfect)!! Dessert chapter: a "Chantilly cup and berries" and a "Tiramisu" (both very tasty) With a lot of effort we could say what particularly struck us... it was all delicious; the place was very clean and the service was excellent!!
