I wanted to share some respectful feedback. Over my recent visits, I have noticed a change in how some staff interact with customers. A few team members have come across as entitled, openly opinionated, and dismissive when faced with minor requests, such as helping carry water jugs to a vehicle for a customer with a newborn, or breaking a large bill into smaller denominations. On one occasion, I was told, “You should have just used your card.” I grew up in Devon and have many fond memories of IGA, which is why this trend is disappointing. I know retail is demanding, and I appreciate how hard your team works. I would simply ask that customer service standards be refreshed so guests continue to feel welcome and respected. Thank you for considering this feedback.
