We ordered the fish dish with grilled vegetables and fried potatoes. Euro 65 per couple. A mountain of fried fish in a wet vegetable soup with 2 glassy bantams. Breaded squid rings on top, which were mushy from the sauce. The waiter passed this on to the owner. We heard what was said and saw the owner shrug his shoulders (it was filmed). He didn't come by. We left and left everything behind. After we had paid, the owner only asked "you thought the fish was wet, right? We always make it that way and never have any complaints. The plates filled with delicious dishes and pizzas also suggest the quality which is indicated with high stars at the top. We really enjoyed the starter. We think they should really improve that wet, tasteless tomato paste. I cook Italian at a good level, but I would never dare to serve this. Last week I enjoyed a wonderful evening at I Fratelli, a fantastic Italian restaurant that really brings a piece of Italy to the Netherlands. From the moment you enter, you feel the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The interior is stylish and authentic, which immediately creates a relaxed and cozy ambiance. The food was truly sublime. The dishes were clearly prepared with fresh ingredients and a lot of love for Italian cuisine. The pasta was perfectly al dente, and the pizza had that crispy thin base that you only find at the best Italian pizzerias. The Tiramisu for dessert in particular was highly recommended: creamy, airy and exactly as it should be. The service was friendly, professional and gave good recommendations. There was enough attention to the guests without being intrusive, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. In short, I Fratelli is highly recommended for lovers of authentic Italian cuisine. Whether you come for an intimate dinner or a pleasant evening with friends, you have definitely come to the right place. I will definitely come back soon!
