My wife and I came here for afternoon tea, but were immediately put off by how unclean the place was. As we approached, we saw several people right outside engaging in questionable activities, which wasn’t a great start. Walking down the stairs, the space felt grimy, and the seating inside wasn’t much better. The selection of menu was limited, though they did have some interesting vinyl records to browse through, likely aiming for a retro vibe. Unfortunately, the overall atmosphere wasn’t for us—especially with disinterested staff who barely greeted us and flies buzzing around. Unique little hidden away cafe! I loved the mismatched decor and the general vibe, I'm not a huge fan of jazz but the music made for a nice ambience. Reasonable prices, not much more than in pics from years ago so props to them! Hands down my favourite coffee shop I’ve ever frequented. Atmosphere is unrivalled, it feels so cozy and comforting and has great music at all times. The food is amazing, great bagel options and snacks and the coffee is always great. The staff are top notch as well and seem to really care about the service and environment.
