Wanted a really good steak and figured this would be a nice experience for a date night, but it was more like a date nightmare. We started with the French onion soup and table Cesar.. The soup came out and it was nothing to write home about and while we were still eating our soup the waiter comes out and starts making salad and doesn't really say anything while preparing it (the table beside us got a full description of what's going into it and why etc) They then left the salad at the other end of the table instead of taking my empty soup and serving the salad while my partner tried to finish her soup... We then started eating our salads and hers wasn't dressed to her liking and we had to flag someone down for more dressing because no one ever checked on us the entire meal... Then there was a fairly long delay for the mains to come out... The server actually came out to tell us it would be ready in a few minutes. Our mains, the steak Dianne and beef wellington were quite good, the meat was very tender, juicy and flavorful, just wish there was a little more meat in the dish. They never checked to see how the mains were or if the steaks were cooked to our liking. The banana foster preoperative was a little more descriptive and interactive but not as good as the other table. We finished satisfied but not totally full with the somewhat small portions they provided. When the bill came I found they charge not only as much as a few bottles of pop for a glass of watered down fountain Pepsi but they charge as much as a bottle of pop for each refill I had to flag someone down and ask for each time. The atmosphere felt cozy but I didn't feel like I was getting a high end dining experience for the kind of money they are asking for. It wasn't very busy so they really had no excuse. The food was only okay, and I've had much better service at the olive garden on a busy day lol. Would not recommend and will not return.
