If your someone that makes mistakes I wouldn’t recommend coming here! On one occasion 2 weeks ago my spouse spilt a full beer by accident and was still charged because I quote “not her fault” !!! from the server. I had no problem paying that time and shrugged it off, still left a generous tip.i live in the area and come here on a regular basis!! I was here today for lunch and I was not pleased with the salad, i stated I didn’t want it and I also did not eat it. She said no problem and took it away, to my surprise when the bill came I was still charged for the salad, I asked to speak to a manager, the server came back and packed us another salad instead of getting the manager. WE DID NOT WANT another SALAD!!!!! Instead of reimbursing us the first time. This was very frustrating considering we just spent 85$ for soup and salad. If you want to eat dry rabbit lettuce 10/10 recommend. If you have anything to say here the server (Julie) will talk in circles and you’ll never get your point across or any solutions. I also called the restaurant after to ACTUALLY speak to a manager which got me nowhere!! she validated that I should have had a conversation about an alternative but basically a spit in my face and that they don’t replace beers cause if everyone spilt a beer it cost them money so be aware no mistakes allowed here unless you wanna pay for them! Hunter's Public House is a nice busy place that has great service and is very clean. They have live bands every Friday. We found the food to be very good. The exception is the price of the what you get. We received a poke bowl that was $27. it was very tasty however I could not understand how you can justify the markup of such a simple dish that other places specialize in and make far cheaper. The Hunter Taco's were interesting as well. They come plain and adding a protein costs a minimum of $3.00. This totalled $24.00 for something that would be an appetizer on some restaurant menu's such as BeerTown. As a well rated restaurant, I would possibly skip coming here due to the value you receive. I have done hundreds of reviews and very seldom do I make comments on prices but this one doesn't measure up. Price per person: $30–40 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
