Our 2nd visit to Hudsons. Will keep going back as long as they have truffle cheese sauce and bacon jam on a burger. Great service. Great food. Who did it the best? The Pretoria branch maybe just a little better than the Cape Town branch we visited a few months ago. Went for lunch, and oh boy, we were blown out of our socks. This burger joint rocks. They have out-of-this world milkshakes with real caramelized popcorn on top. I did not have it today, but I will deffs do it next time. They have outside seating, and the views are spectacular. We shared a triple cheese chili poppers (R70) starter. I had "the Deluxe"...wagyu patty topped with garlic mayo, caramelized onions, cheddar,Jameson BBQ sauce, bacon, and homemade pickles (R145) with skinny chips (R38). My friend had "the tribeca selection" sliders. (The player, the cheese and the original royale) (R135) clever choice cause you get to taste 3 burgers . We were too stuffed for desert, but I did see something fried oreos... Oh boy! Need to go back. Lovely laid back atmosphere with nice music. Kendra looked after us. She was very attentive and she had a good knowledge of the food on the menu. If I could give more stars, I would. Never before have I had such a horrible experience at a restaurant that goes on to ruin the rest of your evening.

Despite ordering food and drinks to the value of nearly a thousand rand for two individuals at a birthday function, my girlfriend and I were treated with the utmost disrespect by two waitresses at Hudsons. After asking for the bill and waiting for 15 minutes to not receive it, only for my girlfriend to ask for a second time, I was rudely surprised by the response of waitress when she rudely ignored my girlfriend after asking and walked away. After speaking with the manager, I finally received my bill, only to be told moments later by another waitress that "people like us should not be eating here", I was appalled and can promise that I will never patronize any Hudsons ever again, due to rude and arrogant servers who feel extremely entitled and at full liberty to give you grief for simply asking for the bill. Disgraceful service, would give it 0 stars if i could, because the manager failed to offer any sort of resolve for the issue.

The management and servers at this particular Hudsons are extremely and undoubtedly unprofessional
