The dark wooden furniture, the comfortable upholstered seats and the warm light sources ensure that you feel comfortable in the “House of Steaks”. The menu is quite diverse - there is also something for vegans. However, we focused on the different types of steak and chose Ribeye and Black Angus. All steaks were medium fried as requested, tender, well seasoned and tasted excellent. Here “House of Steaks” easily beats comparable steakhouses such as “The Ash” or “El Tarascon”. The numerous side dishes and sauces all have to be ordered and paid for separately. The bacon beans, grilled champions and fried potatoes we ordered tasted impeccably. Only the pan-fried corn and garlic bread still have a lot of room for improvement. Both side dishes were quite dry and could use some work on the taste. All in all, we ate well at the “House of Steaks”, sat comfortably and were served quickly and friendly.
