Updated review: Today, we ordered grill salmon fish and it was really good We ordered a platter, and it tasted to perfection. This morning, I called to reserve some Halim and specifically asked to make sure it wouldn’t have cinnamon. The person on the phone assured me that cinnamon would only be added if requested, and I made it clear we didn’t want any. When we arrived, all the Halim bowls were covered in a lot of cinnamon. I mentioned that this wasn’t what I was told over the phone, but the staff just said those were the last bowls of the day and there was nothing they could do. Insanely good and authentic Persian food. I had my favorite Joojeh and my husband his usual Kubideh/Sultani. Portion is big, condiments are perfect and very well cooked, it evokes a lot of lovely memories of the first time I fell in love with Persian food back when I was in a little city of Bakersfield in California.
